The first three people I interviewed were asked about my current
market and what they think would benefit it.
I did all audio recordings instead of film for this assignment because I
dropped my phone and cracked the camera lens over the weekend.
Based on my customer
feedback, I have decided that for the future to add the chargers to my current
product. I believe this has the highest
potential to grow my market and expand my product. I also am considering the option of adding
higher quality headphones for purchase at the gym.
The next three people I interviewed were asked about a new
potential market for my product and how well they thought it would work
From this new market, I learned my
product has a lot of potential in commercial gyms as well. What surprised me the most is that older
adults actually liked this idea because I thought it was mainly popular with
college kids.
Some of my assumptions about this
new market were right. I think this new
market might appear to be more appealing to pursue as there is a higher profit
regimen.

ReplyDeleteGreat post and great idea, I actually went and read your venture concept a little bit. If this is in your concept disregard, but since they are inexpensive headphone you could have specific spot on the vending machine to have the customers recycle the headphone. So you can reuse some materials and save on costs. Keep up the good work.
Zach, next time you may want to include your audio recordings so we can listen to your questions and interviewees answers. It looks like you have a good grasp of the strengths and weaknesses of your current product as well as ideas on how to improve it. It's great that through this assignment, you may have found an even more appealing market!
