Final Reflection

The most fun experiences in this class were the ones that were more tactile and hands on such as interviews.  The assignments in this class I dread the most are the reading reflections, as reading is very boring. 

The most formative experience I got out of this class was learning how to interview people and approach strangers.  I believe I will remember this for years to come and hope that it will help me in the real world with approaching strangers and meeting new people.  My most joyous experience was actually the assignment where we had to give strangers money.  This brought me joy because whether the stranger needed the money or not, they still seemed appreciative of it and it made me feel like I did a good deed.  What I am most proud of accomplishing this class is getting over my fear of approaching strangers.  At first when we had to interview strangers, I was not look forward to it at all, as I do not like to talk to people I am not comfortable around.  Over this course I have gotten over this and believe that it will hep me in the future.

I believe that from all the coursework we have done this semester, that I am in fact moving closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset. I would not yet consider myself an entrepreneur, as I have not sold anything or actually started my business. However, I do believe that I have learned the tools and have gained the qualities it takes to be one and plan on using all of these skills to work closer towards my goals. 

My recommendation for students about to take this course would be to actually put in the work and do not just go through the motions.  This class is unique compared to other classes where you can still get a good grade without really getting much out of the class, but if you actually take the time to better yourself and learn from what this class has to offer, you can receive a lot of benefit from it and learn a lot of life skills you would have not learned anywhere else. I recommend for future students to develop the entrepreneur mindset is to live as if you have the mindset, and as you continue to work on it you will eventually live in like an entrepreneur out of habit.
