How many times have you showed up the gym ready to pump some
iron to your favorite tunes, only to realize you left your headphones at home?
Instead of dragging yourself through a mundane workout, how great would it be
if there was a solution to this? A simple low cost way to still listen to your
classic jams during your lift? Well we have the solution right here. The headphone vending machine is a cheap and
convenient way to still enjoy your work out.
Hi Zack!
ReplyDeleteWish I could comment and give you feedback on your pitch-- if only you had your video up! When you do put it up, please tell me so I can help round out any 'rough' parts of your pitch!
Otherwise, I think you have a good idea for a possible business venture that you could very well flesh out in more detail. It is a good start-- just expand on the idea more! Is it a headphone rental, is it a vending machine just for headphones, what makes this different from regular vending machines selling headphones, etc etc.
By the way, don't be shy and stop by my blog to see my elevator pitch! http://memazal.blogspot.com/2016/02/which-floor-please-elevator-pitch-no-1.html
Hello Zack,
ReplyDeleteI think you have a pretty good idea with the vending machine in a gym. I have actually found myself in that position before. I just wonder since you have invested in some type of vending machine you should now try to maximize your investment. What other items could you also sell to potential gym rats? Could you sell hand chalk or even weight lifting gloves? Maybe you could team up with a supplier who would be willing to give you product on consignment and you pay them only when you have sold their product. I guess you know by now that your elevator pitch video is now up on your blog.
Thanks for sharing your idea. I hope you will take a moment to check out my pitch on my blog. Tell me what you think. http://9to5isoverrated.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no1.html

Hi Zack!
ReplyDeleteWhere is your video? I have been having technical difficulties with uploading videos... maybe you're having similar issues? I do like your idea, though. I actually forget my headphones frequently when going to the gym. There is nothing I hate more than working out without music! I would totally purchase one from your machine. However, have you thought about prices yet? I wouldn't make them too expensive, but make sure you can make a profit. Would you rent the machines to gyms, or sell them? Other than that, great post! Check out mine here: http://taylertibbits.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
Hi Zack, I would have liked to have reviewed your video (I didn't get mine up either). This idea sounds like a very implementable plan. There are already vending machines that would be adaptable to headphones. This solve a customer need, be easy to upkeep, and possibly be lucrative.
