Week 2 Reading Reflection

The biggest surprise I found in the reading was that new and smaller firms create the most jobs in the U.S. economy.  This is mainly due to small fast growing businesses, known as “gazelles”. One part of the reading that was confusing to me was the “Displacement School of thought”. I found this concept very hard to grasp and although it appeared to make some sense, I did not fully understand it enough to know what it means. If I could ask the author a question, it would be to go into more detail about the environmental school of thought.  I found this topic very interesting and would like to know more about it. Another question I would ask is where the author learned all of this knowledge.  I want to know if this is all what he has been taught his whole life, or if it is all of the top of his head, or a little bit of both. I personally did not see anything that I disagreed with the author with.
